The NUL Librarian, Dr M.M. Moshoeshoe-Chadzingwa is an accomplished academic. She holds a B.A. + Certification of Education from the University of Botswana, Lesotho, and Swaziland (UBLS), the predecessor to the current National University of Lesotho (NUL). She completed this degree in 1977.

She then obtained a Higher Diploma in Librarianship from the Polytechnic of North London between 1978 and 1979. Dr Moshoeshoe-Chadzingwa then proceeded to obtain an M.A. in Library and Information Studies from the University of London, graduating in 1985.

Her work experience is widespread. She worked in various capacities in the Lesotho National Library Service from Trainee Librarian to Senior Librarian and Acting Director. She also worked in various capacities when she joined the NUL, as a Documentalist, Senior Documentalist at the Institute of Southern African Studies (ISAS). She also had a stint at the Zimbabwe Institute of Development Studies (ZIDS) in 1991/1992.

In her strive to achieve excellence; she went for further studies in 1998 to pursue a PhD in Information Studies at the University of Natal (now University of Kwazulu-Natal), completing her PhD in 2002. She is substantively the NUL Librarian after holding the position of Deputy Librarian.

She has held memberships and is a member of several professional associations and societies in which she served in different capacities and as a founding member. She has also served on several boards and commissions. An accomplished researcher, Dr Moshoeshoe-Chadzingwa, has a proven track record in some areas of consulting.
