Regulations
Admission:
In addition to the admission requirements stated in the general regulations of NUL, students intending to pursue the B.Comm program must have a credit pass in Mathematics.
Proceed/Pass
For both single and double major students, all prescribed subjects (and courses) by the department as well as by other departments must be taken and passed at a grade of 50% or better before a student can proceed to a subsequent year of study and/or graduate after Year IV.
However, a student may be allowed to carry over just one course in which an F grade has been obtained in the first examination sitting or a score of less than 50% has been obtained after supplementary examination.
Faculty of Social Sciences regulations governing supplementary examinations, repeat of failed courses, repeat of failed years, discontinuation and/or exclusion from the Faculty and/or university, continuous assessment/examination weighting will be applicable to both single and major students in the department.
Each of the prescribed courses will be examined by a 3-hour paper. The timing of the examination will be governed by the Faculty of Social Sciences regulations.
Other:
The Department reserves the right to offer or not to offer a subject/course to students opting for it during any given academic year. Students would be informed of such a decision during the official registration period designated by the University. The department's decision shall be final.

b) BA Accounting and Public Administration.
c) Accounting as a teaching subject for Faculty of Education.
Students intending to study for the above listed programmes must take and pass all the compulsory subjects and at least one optional subject from those listed below. Students, other than the B.Comm; must also satisfy the requirements of their respective second majors.
